After more than a year in the making, Roundabout proudly presents their debut EP SIDEQUEST – a vibrant fusion of Neo-Soul, R’n’B, and New Jazz, shaped by groove, complexity and raw emotion

Written, composed, and performed by Moritz Lindner, Alexander Danninger, Manú Kreutzer and Henrik Stöllinger, this EP is more than just a collection of songs – it’s the result of a creative development over the last years, finally finding its outlet in three intense weeks of recording at drummer Moritz Lindner’s rehearsal space in Upper Austria’s Mühlviertel.

Mixed by Paulo Germano (Nubiyan Twist, corto.alto) and mastered by Sam Irl (Shake Stew), SIDEQUEST retains its DIY essence while benefiting from the expertise of these renowned sound engineers. Additional creative sparks come from Timon Grohs (guitar), Jamie Leeming (guitar) and Matthias Zeindlhofer (trombone) whose contributions bring new colors and depth to the project.

Formed in 2021 during their time at Pop Borg Linz and now studying together at the Jazz Institute of Bruckner University Linz, Roundabout has quickly established itself as one of Austria’s most exciting young Jazz bands.
