In 2024, BRUNO REPSOLD recorded his debut album with his quintet, featuring seven original compositions arranged in the classic jazz tradition: a space where everyone plays, listens, engages in musical dialogue, and has fun. The songs draw inspiration from life itself—musical and spiritual influences, friendships, family, and the myriad experiences that shape one’s identity. The album was recorded live during a two-day session in Rio de Janeiro.

Repsold brought together an exceptional band, comprising musicians and friends who deeply understood and connected with the musical concepts and language he envisioned. On acoustic nylon guitar is André Siqueira, a two-time national and one-time international guitar prize winner who has performed with renowned artists like Carlos Malta and Danilo Caymmi. On piano is Eduardo Farias, who recently recorded his own album alongside legends such as Greg Hutchinson, Daryl Hall, Baptiste Herbin, and Eric Harland. On trumpet is Diogo Duque from Portugal, a musician deeply connected to jazz traditions and Brazilian music who has performed with artists like Marisa Monte, Salvador Sobral, and the iconic Benny Golson. On drums is Fixel, who has played with several great Brazilian artists and spent four years in Spain. There, he studied jazz in Pontevedra and performed alongside acclaimed artists such as Logan Richardson and Paco Charlín.
