The second single ahead of Leo Middea’s upcoming album — set to be released in February 2026 — “Verano” is a warm, vibrant wave.

Written after a hot summer night in Madrid, the song is being released at the start of the Brazilian spring and the European autumn — serving as a summer preview for Brazilians and a comforting memory of sunny days for Europeans. Sunny and bright, without losing the unmistakable swing that Leo has, “Verano” mixes the best of the places Leo calls home: Spain and Brazil. With Spanish guitar played by Catalan Pau Figueres, one of the finest guitarists, and a chorus that brings Portuguese and Spanish together, the track brings Leo’s essence closer to a story of affection, tenderness, and memories. From Milton Nascimento, Djavan, and açaí, to the mystery that begins with a kiss — it’s everything someone hopes for in a great, soulful summer; or a Verano.

With mixing by Tó Brandileone and mastering by Felipe Tichauer, the single is an invitation to the charm, musicality, and the richness of Leo Middea’s well lived experiences.
