Fru Assah Atanga aka Colonel Faat was born in Cameroon. he left his homeland and moved to Nigeria at the age of 21 for learning how to play the saxophone, In Nigeria Fru played with various groups in hotels and night clubs. later on he decided to go to Ghana where he participated in several recordings and live performances. over the years he recorded four albums in his living room, but so far he didn’t release any of his own music.
